Business is booming, according to a Luton-based commercial property company

It’s a booming time for business sites

A family business based in Luton says demand for commercial properties in the town has reached an all time high.

SR Wood & Son has been so successful in selling commercial real estate on behalf of its clients that they need more property to market.

Founded in 1981, the family business specializes in the sale and acquisition of leasehold and freehold commercial properties.

Despite the impact of the pandemic, the local and national commercial property market overall is strong, with the Collingdon Street-based company shedding nearly all of its stock.

Agency surveyor Jacob Wood said: “It’s a great market to work in at the moment, with such a fast pace and generally high values. If anyone has been thinking about offloading their business premises on a leasehold or freehold basis, the market clearly dictates that now is the time to do so.”

Company director Stephen Wood said: “Following Jacob’s comment, industrial or warehouse premises are currently in vogue. Local and national stock is limited but demand is still high. The result is that values are reaching heights never seen before.”
